Research-based internship at INL, a partner research laboratory of Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, dedicated to multidisciplinary technological research in micro- and nanotechnologies. Working within the "Devices for Health and the Environment" team, designing and developing microsystems and sensors for medical, life-sciences, and environmental-monitoring applications — supported by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Polytech Lyon.
Worked at RISETech, an R&D company founded by NUST professors, on the design, development, and maintenance of biomedical systems and devices — including data collection and analysis, validation of medical technologies, compliance with healthcare standards, integration with clinical workflows, and performance optimization.
Full-time role covering biomedical engineering and quality oversight responsibilities.
Explored research in Brain–Machine Interfaces at the BioMedical Image and Signal Analysis (BIOMISA) Research Group under the supervision of Dr. Soyiba Jawed — a group of academicians, researchers, and industrialists working on biomedical signal and image processing, data science, and embedded systems.
Completed the mandatory post-6th-semester Hospital/Industry Internship (Pakistan Engineering Council requirement) at SKMCH&RC — the first organisation in Pakistan accredited under the Joint Commission International's "Enterprise Edition." Worked toward core Program Learning Outcomes: engineering knowledge, problem analysis, investigation, modern tool usage, ethics, and teamwork.
Founded Bazm-e-BME to connect biomedical engineering students, researchers, faculty, and practicing engineers across Pakistan, inspired by a simple realisation during undergraduate travel between university BME departments and hospitals: the field needed one shared home. What began as a small effort has grown into a nationwide community of 1,250+ members united around a single field.
